Let’s Go Phillies

My baseball team, the Phillies beat the Yankees in the first game of the world series last night and I was very happy. There are lots of Yankees fans that I know and I get to cuss them all. I was going to post a video of the Phillies fans rioting in the city after they won last years World Series, but instead I will share with you the history of one of the iconic foods from my second City, the Philly Cheese Steak.

I’m off drink for a month and started training again. Need some discipline. One day I can be like Bernard, I keep telling myself. Bernard is now 43 and still trading with the best. His next fight sees him go up against Roy Jones Jr, and I think after this, it would be fitting to see both retire.

Apologies for the lack of update; I’ve been in Paris getting exploited by the ridiculous prices for coffee and alcohol. Turns out it’s cheaper to get your coffee at starbucks, so that is my advice if you’re going. Not only is the coffee bigger, but it’s cheaper and they play those generic lounge compilations, which usually have Toots and the Maytals on it.
